The dates are out for the 3 events that Northern Ireland grip team will be at the Irish Stone lifter events for 2025. All dates are set but all the handles or order of handles for each event are still to be decided.

Stanley Hamilton will be competing at the Arnold Classic 2025 in Columbus Ohio.
He will be the first man from Ireland/Northern Ireland to ever compete in this competition.
Specifically in the Arm Lifting USA competition.
It is a 3 handle event.
Axle Bar lift, Saxon bar Lift and GrandFather Clock (V Bar) Medley.
Irelands Strongest Kid 2024 Ruby Hamilton (ages 7-9)
Ruby Hamilton completed all 5 events to become Irelands strongest kid 2024. This competition was held by Simon Truesdale at the Resurgence Training Facility in Lurgan. 7/9/24. Here she is below enjoying the reward. A Mackles Ice Cream in Armagh.

Northern Ireland have their first ever medal from the Gods of Grip UK Finals

Stanley Hamilton breaks the World Record on the Horne Top handle
At the Gods of Grip UK Finals 3rd August 2024. Stanley lifted 65kg and held it for 33 Seconds under the watchful eye of the inventor of the handle and all round grip legend David Horne. This lift breaks the previous World record for a -93kg man by 9 seconds. It was enough to win the round in the entire competition across all body weight classes. Stanley has lifted similar horn type handles but this was his first time trying this handle. Look up his other grip feats on instagram.
